Preschool Story Times (FREE) - preschoolers are invited to join us weekly for stories, games, science experiments, crafts, songs, and laughter. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact the library at 273-2843 for further details.
CLUB CAFE: 3rd Thursday of the Month
October – March
Hackmatack Book Club for students grade 4-6 (FREE). Members are given the opportunity to vote for the winners of this Maritime Award. Please contact the library at 273-2843 for further details.
July - August
FREE Summer Reading Programs are offered to both school-age and preschool age groups. Each year there is a different provincial theme and the children register to participate in the programs. At the end of the summer we have a final program where the members receive a certificate of participation.
We also offer seasonal & miscellaneous programming as well as book authors
